Public Radio Website about trailer for Innocence of Muslims:
Comment: Someone help me out here please. A person
cannot yell "Fire" in a crowded theater because it will cause injury or
death. Does this movie come under the proviso as an act of "free
speech" or did the people who produced it do so will full knowledge
that riots and deaths of US citizens would result? Is this not
punishable within our legal system?
Response: I think this is still covered under free
speech. Otherwise, you're basically turning the "fire in a crowded
room" limitation into a German style hate speech law.
